The Texas Giant at Six Flags Over Texas (RCDB #2)

The Texas Giant was a wooden coaster at Six Flags Over Texas from 1990 until 2009.

= HISTORY =

The coaster opened on March 17th, 1990, and upon it's opening, it was notable for causing Dorney Park, who had Hercules, a wooden coaster with a bigger drop, to attempt to sue Six Flags for false advertising. The suit ended with both parties being allowed to claim it's the tallest in the world, as while Hercules had a bigger drop, The Texas Giant was much higher off the ground.
